Higashi distillery, found in 1915 in Kagoshima, is mainly producing shochu "Nanakubo" and "Kuro sake". At this expo, also will introduce umeshu (plum wine) and shochu aged in the oak barrel like whisky(whiskey). Organic Black Tea Shochu liqueur "Little Kiss" was very well received at last year's exhibition and reported by TV, but a new product coffee liqueur will also be exhibited this year.

Organic Black Tea SHOCHU liqueur. Made by infusing organic black tea “Benifuki” from Tokunoshima island (Kagoshima) with Kome (Rice) Shochu. Delicate and smooth aroma bringing through the flavours of this special tea. Recommend to drink chilled, on the rocks or even adding some soda water.

Kuro sake (Kurozake) is a one of traditional Akumochi sake that combines the elements of mirin and cooking liquor. All-purpose sake that has the masking effect against smell such as from meat or raw fish and also can extract the original taste of the food under the influence of enzyme. Widely used in food processing factories and top restaurants (including Michelin stars) due to Hiagashi's original and traditional manufactuaring method.
